Position Overview:

The MMBSI Treasury Services sales organization Business Manager has the responsibility for executing and communicating business strategy within the Commercial Bank Middle Market, Specialized Industries, Government, Healthcare and Treasury Center of Excellence (TCOE). This role will report directly to the MMBSI TS Business Manager and be a core partner supporting all aspects of the Treasury Services organization. Key responsibilities will include managing various projects on a regional and national level, providing detailed data analysis and supporting management reporting.

Responsibilities will be accomplished in partnership with other members of the Region, Business Management, Finance and Business Operations and Control Teams, as well as with members of the Corporate functions (Compliance, Risk, Real Estate, etc.). Additionally, this position will partner with key stakeholders in delivering reporting, analysis and controls within the business.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and coordinate strategic planning sessions, with Regional Management teams and key product partners

  • Identify areas for continued process improvement and enhance efficiencies by generating innovative ideas and solutions

  • Recommend action steps for enhancing competitive positioning with clients

  • Determine efficiencies within the business and sponsor productivity and quality efforts

  • Prioritize and lead/participate in constant stream of projects required of the business. Align resources to ensure projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner

  • Involvement in all special business unit activities

  • Determine and execute strategies to enhance employee recognition and satisfaction

  • Partner with the Senior Sales Managers to deliver the Sales Management Process, which includes the management of sales pipeline, scorecard analysis, etc


  • Partner with key business and functional partners to drive initiatives

  • Ensure consistent and timely communication of all segment initiatives to business units

  • Oversee and Coordinate presentations and material for Business Reviews, Senior Leadership presentations, etc.

  • Manage relationships with product partners to ensure business units needs are represented and strategy is communicated

  • Ensure business unit infrastructure needs are represented and executed

  • Business analysis/project management support for regulatory work streams and various business/strategy needs

  • Partner with the Finance team as well as Data team in the preparation of reports, budgets and annual and long-term planning reports


  • College degree; MBA a plus 6+ of relevant experience in banking

  • Treasury Management industry experience preferred

  • An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently and to work well in cross-functional teams

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively; develop strong partnership with multiple levels of employees

  • Ability to interpret and present complex data in an easy to comprehend manner

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong project planning and management abilities in combination with proven teamwork and influential skills
