Wehner Multifamily Construction Maintenance Technician in Dallas, Texas

Wehner Multifamily is looking for a skilled Construction Maintenance Technician who will assist the construction project team in ensuring timely and successful completion of construction projects.

The duties and responsibilities include the following, though other

duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure that all vacated apartments are thoroughly restored to make ready status as

scheduled. Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves,baseboards, mirrors, closets, curtains and mini blinds.

  • Electrical work: install or replace ceiling fans, lights/fixtures, GFCI breakers, switches

and/or plugs.

  • Inspect vacated apartments and complete checklist in regard to make ready

assignments.

  • Check cabinet fronts and knobs for repairs or replacements.

  • Check faucets and sinks for repair or replacements as needed.

  • Perform exterior repair to sinks and bathtubs.

  • Report supply needs to the Foreman and/or Construction Supervisor as needed.

Below are the knowledge, skills, and judgment required.

  • High school diploma, preferred

  • Good human relation skills demonstrating the ability to deal with Residents, Peers and

Supervisors

policies and procedures.

  • Able to work with moderate to minimal direct supervision.
