Seeking to hire an Engineering Technician for a growing Medical Device company in DFW ASAP!
Seeking an Engineering Technician possessing a combination of electrical hardware, software skills, and systems level verification testing
A successful candidate will configure test setups, and perform test protocols to characterize and verify embedded systems and low power mixed
signal modules, circuits, and circuit boards. The candidate should be capable of documenting testing into formal reports. This individual will interface with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance and other groups as necessary and work under minimal supervision. Hands-on development experience with laboratory equipment and measurement devices such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, etc. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to document all testing into formal reports. Experience in a highly regulated development environment, with emphasis in FDA is preferred but
Electrically characterize and test frequency, pulse width, and voltage amplitude on medical implantable pulse generators
Follow necessary protocols and assist R&D engineers with verification and validation on new prototypes
Procure accurate measurements by probing pins based on electrical schematics and footprints
Use Stim Studio software and a body box to observe and measure necessary data at room and body temperature
Calculate current amplitude from waveforms generated by the oscilloscope using Ohm’s Law
