Bank of America Global Markets Quality Assurance Lead in Dallas, Texas
The Wholesale Credit (WC) team is part of the Global Banking organization within Global Banking and Markets. The primary focus of the WC Quality Assurance (QA) team is to design and execute quality assurance testing that aids the WC line of business by ensuring process and controls are functioning properly and data elements are flowing completely and accurately from input through to any and all data consumers.
This role is a great opportunity to join the Wholesale Credit Quality Assurance (WC QA) team! We are seeking a WC QA Global Markets Credit Quality Assurance Lead. The Quality Assurance Lead will apply their knowledge and expertise in Global Markets to build out and execute effective QA programs in support of Global Markets Credit. In this capacity, he or she is responsible for QA program development and execution including program design, testing, analyzing results and trends, reporting and communicating results, training associates, and ensuring closure on required remediation.
The role focuses on the strategic development of efficient and effective quality assurance routines to support the needs of the Global Markets Credit. Additional responsibilities include the examination of credit actions and data elements for accuracy and adherence to policy/procedure; identification of gaps in controls or the credit process; and partnering to close issues.
The candidate may also represent WC QA in cross functional strategic efforts to remediate process or data quality issues. Further the associate may lead or work on projects supporting the continued improvement of the QA process. He or she may be asked to help seek out and identify appropriate talent and assist with training and coaching. In addition, he or she will also be responsible for assisting the leadership team in addressing key initiatives within WC.
Global Markets Credit experience
3+ years Global Markets Credit experience as an Underwriter, Credit Analyst, Credit Review Officer or similar role
Ability to Drive execution of key strategic initiatives
A working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures
Identification of process improvements
Strong partnering skills with senior leaders across the organization to achieve objectives
Coordination of Complex projects
Training and mentoring
Effective communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to influence decisions to achieve results
Ability to analyze problems and identify both tactical and strategic solutions
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines
Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also as an engaged member of a team
Strong oral and written communications skills
Intermediate to Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills
Prior experience reviewing credit including a role in Credit Review, Audit or other QA team
Risk management, process and control assessment experience
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
