The MSUS National Solutions Organization (NSO) is the team to join.

The Industry Sales Manager is a senior leader within the MSUS, reporting to the National Solutions Organization (NSO) Industry General Manager The Industry Sales Manager will lead a team of high performing Industry Executives responsible in developing industry strategy, identifying industry priorities and sales motions to accelerate market share across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, orchestrate and drive execution of the Industry Strategy for MSUS, working closely with Field Leaders, Worldwide Commercial Business (WCB), Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS), MSUS Customer Marketing (CMO), Marketing & Operations, Chief Digital Office, (CDO) and other groups.

  • Collaborate and lead a group of stakeholders across the above teams to identify industry priorities, based on US market trends and opportunities.

  • Enrich and evolve our people and capabilities. Attract, grow and retain talent base as #1 organizational asset. Foster and enrich a healthy work environment and ensure line of sight on Microsoft strategies for all employees.

  • Maintain a pipeline of top talent and continuously develop high potential talent within the team. Promote hiring best practices which optimize for diversity.

  • Develop network of strong relationships with key search and media industry influencers, customers and partners. Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of the priority industry and trends affecting or influencing the marketplace.

  • Execute on strategies which will drive significant joint revenue opportunity.

Qualifications

The individual in this role will bring strong business experience, strategic thinking, customer obsession, a passion for innovation and best-practice sharing, all while showing they can deliver exceptional results over time.

  • 7+ years of relevant sales and business experience including interactions with senior executives

  • 5+ years people management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

  • Proven track record of exceptional performance, measured against revenue, customer satisfaction, and organizational health metrics

  • Demonstrated capability to manage and coach high performing sales and/or partner and service in market or virtually.

  • Relentless focus on the customer experience and driving accountability for execution.

  • Flexibility to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, ability to scale across all levels of an organization

  • Location: Anywhere US (relocation not available); Travel up to 50% once safe again
