Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce an opening for a Lead Physician Assistant to help support the trauma service line division for TH Dallas. This a great opportunity to join a team of highly trained trauma surgeons committed to one purpose; providing patients with the most comprehensive, quality, and compassionate surgical care.

POSITION DETAILS:

  • Full Time - rotating shifts with a team of providers to include overnight and weekend shifts

  • Assist physicians with patient rounding and treatment in the Clinic, ER, Floor, ICU and OR

  • Provide and act as Lead PA in the department

  • Assist in training/mentoring/educating fellow PA’s in Trauma and General Surgery procedures.

REQURIMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years of PA Trauma or Surgical experience with some leadership responsibility

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program

  • PA Certification and TX license required

Qualifications

Physician Assistant Qualifications:

The Physician Assistant (“PA”) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required.

The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The PA’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
