POSITION SUMMARY

Grant Thornton’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice is focused globally on middle-market transactions, serving dynamic organizations with experienced professionals who bring a full range of advisory services to validate, optimize and create value. Our M&A practice is comprised of several integrated capabilities that support our clients' needs throughout the transaction lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gain comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagements.

  • Support engagement Manager, Director and PPMD as required in the execution of Statement Of Work requirements.

  • Engage and implement necessary methods and processes related to the needs of the engagement.

  • Ensure client understanding and required participation in the process in order to deliver on content and time commitments.

  • Communicate project plans and work products to clients as requested, coordinate with engagement leadership and communicate promptly any issues or concerns that may affect timely and quality delivery.

  • Maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction, working with client management and staff at all levels.

  • Assist the client relationship management team in developing materials for pursuits

  • Help execute within target billable hours in support of the Statement of Work (SOW), managing client deliverables, deadlines and relationship to support excellence in delivery.

  • Develop overtime an understanding of offering from other practices, develop an internal network across the firm’s practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required; focus in Business Administration, Finance or Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology. A bachelor’s degree in engineering with business experience is also acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a specific, relevant business process, project management planning and/or execution, program management, stakeholder engagement, and financial and operational diligence.
  • Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to travel on short notice and work additional hours as necessary.
  • Travel percentage: 90%
