About This Opportunity

The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting the daily operations and availability of Information Technology systems, operational tools, and processes. This will be accomplished through the translation of IT vision into day-to-day processes and procedures.


  • Will manage day-to-day operational processes including, system reviews, service desk ticketing, monitoring tools, including ensuring all operational tools are performing / alerting as expected.

  • Will manage daily, weekly, quarterly operational reporting, including service level, capacity usage, and incident management reporting.

  • Will manage the setup, implementation, configuration, and documentation of operational tools.

  • Develop and maintain operational knowledge-base.

  • Will own responsibility for transition-to-operation process, including completion of runbooks, alerting, tools configuration, training, etc.

  • Will own the responsibility of day-to-day operations of batch and file transfer processes.

  • Will perform Root Cause analysis and drive findings to completion.

  • Will translate IT architecture and application designs into day-to-day operational procedures and processes, documentation, and training.

  • Will gain a deep knowledge of both online and batch application processes, flows and functions.

  • Other responsibilities as may be needed.


  • Broad understanding of IT methodologies, systems management, and IT Operations.

  • Strong background with operations of IT infrastructure including Windows-based systems, networks, firewalls, databases, monitoring tools, and operational support tools.

  • Understanding of both Online and Batch IT systems.

  • Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be a self-starter, able to work in a dynamic environment, and have a high degree of attention to detail.
