ABC Imaging Print Shop Manager - Dallas, TX in Dallas, Texas


*Full Service Retail Store Copy and Print Shop Experience Required

Under the general direction of the District Manager, the incumbent will manage all aspects of daily operations and activities within the regional shop.


  1. Manages various departments within the shop to ensure all jobs are produced and delivered in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

  2. Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers.

  3. Monitors jobs in production and communicates with production and graphics specialists regarding special jobs, proofs, and shipping info

  4. Contacts clients for clarification regarding specifications and/or questions of job submitted

  5. Executes business objectives, strategies, and tactics for the shop's production units as outlined in ABC Imaging's standard operating procedures and operations plan.

  6. Develops and implements training programs for all shop team members to improve unit operations and the customer experience.

  7. Oversees shop employee scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels are consistently met.

  8. Maintains employee turnover within acceptable limits, ensures that performance appraisals and merit increases (if applicable) are given as scheduled.

  9. Oversees maintenance of interior and exterior appearance of the shop.

  10. Ensures that all shop production equipment is being properly maintained and upgraded. Recommends new acquisitions that will increases productivity.

  11. Other duties as assigned.


  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  2. 5+ years relevant experience

  3. Superior customer service ability and experience in partnering with customers both in person and over the phone

  4. Strong leadership skills

  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without losing focus

  6. Ability to communicate effectively with employees when delegating work and explaining procedures and processes

  7. Ability to speak knowledgeably about shop capability and company to potential and existing clients

  8. Highly developed organizational ability
