Fiserv Product Manager in Dallas, Texas

Position Description

The ECM Product Management team is responsible for execution against the forward-looking product roadmap of Fiserv’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) product strategy – combining image and document archival technologies with process automation technologies.

The team uses their deep understanding of the financial services and direct ECM market-place, competitive environment, and quickly-evolving consumer expectations of digital interactions to assess, prioritize, and decision document centric processes.

As the liaison between the development team, business operations, and clients, the Product Manager collaborates closely with all groups to ensure there is a deep understanding of what solutions are needed to meet explicit or implicit client needs.

Through research, analysis and ongoing interaction and partnerships with the broader Product Management and Strategy team, clients and stakeholders, the, Product Manager will be accountable for leading the ECM strategy and programs for the Credit Union market. These responsibilities include developing new features, bringing new products to market, defining opportunities for growth, and working with the Director, Product Management to set and execute the long-term strategic vision for the product line.


The Product Manager will focus on ECM offerings for Fiserv’s Credit Union market. This position will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: capturing and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product and program visions, and working closely with sales, marketing, development, QA, delivery and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

This role will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on industry experience and personal contact with customers, prospects and partners. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. In addition, this job includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.


  • Define and prioritize the features of the solution

  • Manage entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities with a focus on developing and executing Go to Market plans

  • Develop business justifications, product marketing strategy, pricing strategy, financial and transaction based forecasts for new concepts in order to assess their viability in the CU market

  • Work with Development and Product Marketing to break the annual roadmap into a project plan with milestones for delivery on time and on budget.

  • Create product and business requirements based on market analysis, business strategy and customer needs in the selected markets.

  • Validate and prioritize requirements including defining benefits and impacts of concepts across the organization and for clients.

  • Identify and recommend product marketing opportunities consistent with product objectives.

  • Promote the Fiserv vision, mission, culture of achievement, and strategic goals.

  • Ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas as well as external entities.

  • Communicate the product strategy and value proposition to peers and team members

  • Communicate effectively to ensure internal stakeholder expectations are set correctly


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or equivalent field. Equivalent work experience may be substituted.

  • 5+ years working with Enterprise Content Management related technologies

  • Experience in solutions offered to the Banking/Credit Union industry

  • Product Management and/or Product Marketing experience

  • Software design and/or development experience a plus

  • SDLC product management experience at leading software providers in the software development space including a hands-on agile background

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to solve problems and make decisions based on precedent, guidelines or sound judgment and experience.

  • Exhibits leadership qualities and provides direction, guidance and support to organization.

  • Ensures achievement of revenue objectives for product or product family.

  • Participates in organization strategic business planning activities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good presentation skills.

  • Comfortable communicating effectively with all levels of an organization

  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas as well as external entities.

  • Energetic self-starter and innovative thinker who balances strong customer and quality focus while thinking big

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and comfortable working both independently and with a team
