We are seeking a Scheduler in Dallas, TX

Responsibilities:

• The integrated master schedule will be developed using Oracle’s P-6 v-8.4 or as defined and provided by the Authority. A WBS (work breakdown structure) will be documented and traceable to the statement of work for each project scheduled. The key work efforts for each project will be partitioned into discrete elements, tasks and phases that can be successfully executed to deliver the projects

• Projects activities will be logically tied to accomplish the complete project life-cycle using a best- practices Critical Path Methodology. Baseline schedules will be approved by the Authority and then monthly progress will be measured and reported to reflect and track against the Integrated Program/Project Schedules

• Review and update project definition as required supporting current project requirements

• The schedule activities may include: project initiation, required funding activities, NEPA processes and approvals, planned procurement tasks, conceptual design activities during project development, jurisdiction approvals, right-of-way acquisitions and agreements, third-party utility relocations, third-party agreements, planning and zoning approvals, client Board process approvals, final engineering efforts, construction, systems integration and testing, pre-revenue services, Revenue Service and project close-out

• Review and update contracting plans and documents as required

• Support the Program Scheduler and may be required to interface with many functional managers to facilitate the necessary dialog to build and report against the integrated master schedule

• Other duties as assigned

Transit program scheduling experience

• 5 years of experience in scheduling

• BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building/Construction Management is preferred

• Strong background using Primavera P6 scheduling software

• Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling knowledge/experience and the ability to analyze schedules to determine duration and logic issues

• Candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills
