The Distribution Insights and Customer Experience (DICE) team was formed to improve the Customer Experience and drive growth and value in Digital, Retail and Care through advanced analytics, external insights, and investments in long-term optimization. This team will shape and support improved channel performance through a combination of Centers of Excellence in the areas of Customer Experience, Strategy, Planning, Analytics, and Reporting, as well as dedicated channel optimization teams that will work alongside our Retail, MDU, Indirect Sales & Distribution, Call Centers (Sales, Retention, and Technical Support), and Digital organizations. Aligned with our 2019 goals, DICE will:
Drive improvement to Customer Experience through remove unnecessary process, friction, and cost serving our customers
Formulate distribution playbooks and tactics that drive growth & value within and across channels
Leverage analytics and long-term thinking to help channels unlock performance gains
Serve as the objective single-source of truth for diagnostic performance reporting
Build and steward business plans that reflect the growth & value being driven by DR&C
Supports and executes analysis, research and solution development to aid executive leadership in setting the strategy for the corporation. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Demonstrates in depth knowledge of the economics of business and thorough understanding of the income statement and balance sheet, as well as knowledge of discounted cash flow valuation methodologies and benchmark assumptions. Responsible for leveraging strong financial analysis and modeling skills, including the ability to interpret disparate, complex date into a range of alternate futures. Utilizes research skills and quickly evaluates competitive and industry dynamics. Leverages standard strategy frameworks and applies analysis. Integrates both financial and strategic analysis into a synthesized set of hypotheses and conclusions. Distills core components of complex problems into succinct and easily understood set of conclusions. Demonstrates confidence and poise in presenting hypotheses, conclusions and recommendations to senior management. Job Contribution: Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of industry trends and competitive dynamics requires evaluation of a variety of factors and potential outcomes.
Education: Typically a masters degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Typically 3-5 years of experience in related field.
