About the Role: The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is looking for aSenior System Analystto be located in Dallas, TX. You will manage the operations and development activities. The analyst will provide oversight and act as the single contact for all IT operations and support services. Oversee Customer Support activities including backlog management, incident management, system outage, problem analysis, and status reporting and communication.
Have in-depth understanding of application operations and the SDLC process along with relevant technical expertise to provide support to the business. Maintain a focus on process and service improvements while enforcing best practices. * *You Will: * Manage the customer support and coordinate routine maintenance of the applications * Oversee the incident management process following an established process * Ensure adherence to SLAs and process compliance * Establish and maintain the knowledge management processes * Manage the application backlog and facilitate the prioritization process * Build agreement on customer release project scope * Guide the team in planning for customer releases, including the preparation of relevant documents and estimations * Ensure compliance with system policies and procedures * Provide inputs for setting the strategic direction of operations with a focus on process optimization and efficiency and automation * Collect and report essential metrics to support continuous improvement and provide updates for all stakeholders You Have: * In-depth understanding of the SDLC process * Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Skills communicating complex business and technical concepts with the business users, development team and management * Strong customer focus and very organized * Good understanding of Web Application architecture and components including application integration and data flows * Ability to understand the database design and write queries * Basic Data Warehouse understanding is a plus * Interest in keeping up with new technologies and trends * Equivalent education/experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements Why the Dallas Fed?
