About the Role

In this system engineering intern role, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Develop advanced system solutions addressing key design challenges in end equipment using advanced analog and digital chips

  • Performing teardowns for deeper understanding of system architecture, design challenges

  • Performing system level simulations, design calculators to assess, compare system design tradeoffs and positioning a complete system solution that can help solve given set of design challenges

  • Schematic capture, PCB build, lab validation of the system solution and releasing related documentation

  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging on issues related to the system

  • Work very closely with TI business units and Field organization

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field

  • Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA

  • Must have understanding of and experience with system design, including writing IC design specifications, developing algorithms and creating system reference models

  • Knowledge of structured and/or object oriented programming (C, C ) and signal processing tools (Matlab)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

  • Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships

  • Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
