Job description

Trouble-shoots, repairs, and maintains production equipment and tooling while ensuring compliance with and adherence to product and equipment manufacturers' specifications. Has the skill to identify, implement and capitalize improvement projects.

  • • Repairs, rebuilds, inspects, and tests production equipment and tooling, ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and manufacturers' instructions;

  • • Diagnoses equipment failures, plans and measures performance tests, creates solutions, and repairs or replaces equipment or components;

  • • Obtains quotes and orders material/replacement parts;

  • • Performs preventive maintenance;

  • • Maintains historical data on preventive maintenance;

  • • Recommends new products, equipment, and process improvements;

  • • Interfaces with company organizations, customers, and suppliers to meet company business requirements;

  • • Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;

  • • Regular, predictable attendance is required;

  • • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • • Prefer an Associate's Degree in a technical field. Prefers 3-5 years of experience in the field of equipment maintenance and repair or an equivalent combination of education and experience


  • • Demonstrated skill trouble-shooting and repairing equipment and tooling - Advanced

  • • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally - Advanced

  • • Must be self-motivated/self-directed - Advanced

  • • Capable of working in a fast-paced and demanding environment - Advanced

  • • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) – Advanced

  • • Knowledge of Computer Aided Design software (AutoCad, Solid Works, Inventor, etc)-Basic

  • • Ability to brainstorm and problem-solve - Advanced
