DaVita Administrative Assistant - Bilingual in Edinburg, Texas

Be the "face" of one of our outpatient or hospital facilities-and use your administrative skills to impact the lives of our patients and their families. In this support role you will ensure the timely and accurate completion of change requisitions, treatment logs, patient charts, invoices and purchase orders. You also will assist patients with transportation arrangements and physician appointments.

As a DaVita administrative assistant you will be called on to organize and schedule many events for your department. You will be looking after teammate files, filing medical records, data entry, greeting patients/ vendors as they walk in, and any other duties to ensure that the clinic is running smoothly. The clinic is a busy environment, therefore, you must be comfortable with multitasking.
An ability to work with Microsoft Office applications is a MUST! You will constantly be learning new processes and technological applications, so we are looking for someone with a desire to grow personally and professionally. You will be asked to arrange meetings, make travel plans, and schedule appointments for your department. Organizational skills and time management skills are crucial to this role!
DaVita functions as a very fast-pasted work environment, so your ability to work at a high level of proficiency with little supervision is essential. We will put your multi-tasking skills to the test!

8: 00 AM – 5:00 PM, there is some flexibility on hours and schedule
Full-Time Permanent, 40 hours per week

We seek a personable individual with excellent computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office). You must type 60 WPM and have a high school diploma or GED. Medical secretary or secretarial certification is preferred-as is at least 1 year in a related administrative position in a medical setting.
