Where You'll Work
Our Fort Worth, Texas location and manufactures soups and sauce variations for Kerry customers and brands. We are a fast paced, never a dull moment manufacturing facility that comes together as a team to get the job done. If you like working with a close-knit group that makes a big impact, we may be the place for you! There are 250 employees, 3 shifts, and there is ammonia on-site. During COVID, we are staggering start times to keep employees safe.
What You'll Do
This a fast paced and complex environment requiring you to be the liaison between corporate and site operations, coaching and mentoring teams to live Safety 1st as part of their work and daily lives.
You’ll do this by…
Being the HSE site subject matter expert for the manufacturing site and drive HSE business strategy and initiatives
Developing and implementing annual HSE objectives & improvement plans
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify site HSE training needs, develop appropriate resources, and execute training sessions for employees and management staff
Are you well versed in ISO 14001? We’ll need your expertise to lead an implementation and management of site support and/or maintain the system
Where necessary, lead investigation process and/or collaborate with appropriate team members
Partner with Human Resources on the status of all open Workers Compensation claims and coordinate activities to minimize lost and/or restricted workdays
What You'll Need
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a science-based field of study or high school diploma / GED plus appropriate years of experience in lieu of a degree
Experience in manufacturing in an HSE function, preferably food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing
5 + years of experience with HSE regulations including OSHA, EPA, and local requirements
5+ years of experience with relevant consensus standards such as NFPA and ANSI, and systems such as ISO 14001
Experience engaging employees and developing a strong safety culture
