Description
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the company’s Fort Worth branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified candidates with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Generate assembly and layout drawings of equipment in fast-paced work environment.
Generate shop detail prints.
Generate and nest flat pattern work for laser cutting.
Work with project engineers and other departments to meet deadlines on projects.
Qualifications
Minimum Associates Degree
Drafting skills within Autodesk Inventor or equivalent 3D modeling software required
Supplemental experience in 2D AutoCAD is a plus, but not required
Manufacturing experience is favored, but on-the-job training is manageable for this position.
Must be detail-oriented and have good communication skills
Ability to work full time with some Saturday overtime
Must be able to work scheduled hours and comply with the company’s attendance policy and all other company policies
Knowledge of basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge
Ability to work in a team setting
