Cook Children's Healthcare Medication Courier - Pharmacy in Fort Worth, Texas
The Medication Courier is an entry level position that will assist in providing pharmacy services to the patients and staff of Cook Children's Health Care System and the community we serve by timely delivery of medications. The Medication Courier will be responsible for prompt, accurate delivery and distribution of a variety of materials including pharmaceuticals, supplies, equipment, and/or correspondence throughout Cook Children's Medical Center in accordance with department requirements. All tasks will be performed under the direct supervision the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and/or an experienced pharmacist.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent
Technician Trainee Registration is required within 90 days of employment
Pharmacy Tech Registration is required within 2 years of employment
Good telephone skills and good oral communication skills are required
A general knowledge of office procedures such as filing and record keeping are essential
