A Production Specialist is an experienced landscaper and assist the production leader. They are responsible for landscape maintenance and enhancement projects under the direction of a production leader. They are able to operate a variety of machinery, tools and equipment and they have a working knowledge of horticulture practices. This position will also perform all other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Able to perform landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, spring clean, fall clean up trimming and pruning under the direction of a production leader. Able to complete landscape enhancement projects such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application and lawn seeding under the direction of a production leader. Operates a variety of landscape equipment including but not limited to bed edger, commercial mower, blower, dump trailer, chain saw, line trimmer and tiller. If approved as a driver, safely operates vehicles such as trucks and trailers combinations. Utilize all required PPE and follow OSHA/Safety Standards Assists the production leader with route and job organization, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Cares for equipment and notifies management of needed repairs. Reports for duty at the designated location on time each day. Communicates with outstanding professionalism with all personnel, supervisor, and customers at all times Strives to work towards upward mobility and demonstrates positive daily attitude. To support and participate in the development, implementation, and refinement of our best practices in all areas of field operations and safety. To provide and maintain excellent customer service; internally and externally. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required: Working knowledge of standard horticultural practices, including but not limited to planting, pruning and fertilization. Must have effective communication and comprehension skills Good customer service skills are required for working with clients. Competency: 1. Effective problem solving skills, and ability to work and meet deadlines Work Environment: Employee is required to stand, walk, crouch, stoop or kneel. Employee will regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Employee is required to work in an outside environment with various climate changes during all four seasons.
