The F-35 Avionics Sustainment PM will be responsible for providing Sustainment and Support Solutions for all current and future F-35 programs. The F-35 Avionics Sustainment Program Manager position will establish and execute sustainment program plans that meet the business objectives specified by proposal, management direction and/or cost or profit needs. The F-35 Avionics Sustainment PM serves as the lead for ESA sustainment within all RCEVS Sustainment activity in the US for the F-35 portfolio of products.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
Profit and loss responsibility for the program(s) managed.
Establish and execute sustainment program plans that meet the business objectives specified by proposal, management direction, and/or cost/profit needs.
Establish Integrated Program Team (IPT) organization as necessary and the infrastructure needed to meet business goals.
Establish SOW, IMS/IMP, PCA, DTC and tasks to meet program plan.
Be the sustainment expert for the customer and end user including organization and operational knowledge.
Establish and execute sustainment program plans for the Transition of Technology (ToT) for all products within the product line portfolio to establish and maintain self-sufficient sustainment operations in the USA for all F-35 products sold via the US DoD, to meet the business objectives specified management.
Responsibility for customer interface and satisfaction, including cost and schedule.
Support Sustainment and Support Solutions efforts to obtain new business.
Coordinate and obtain performance commitments and resources from RCEVS member companies as required to execute program plans and meet customers’ sustainment objectives.
Adhere to internal and external standards and core values.
Provide linkage to ESL on sustainment programs.
Provide linkage to RCEVS on sustainment programs.
Ensure ITAR/TAA/DSP-5 compliance is attained.
Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required (Unique and Measurable):
Performance Based Logistics
Accomplished in the synthesis, presentation and communication of program data to senior management.
The successful candidate to be motivated, flexible and able to work with minimal oversight.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technical Management or Integrated Logistics Support or 5 years of functional experience may substitute
Department of Defense contract familiarity
1+ years experience in Managing and Developing performance based logistics programs
1+ years experience in Manufacturing/Engineering/Defense/Commercial environment
1+ years Project/Program Management and Project Control Systems experience
1+ years experience creating logistics models in support of a PBL environment
Strong PC based computer skills to include MSOffice suite
Previous Profit and Loss Responsibility is desired
