Product Owner (2101426) – Freeport, TX

We are seeking a professional like you to serve as a Product Owner in the Operational EHS team within Global Digital Services. This global team is responsible for development, deployment, and support of digital solutions in the EHS domain for BASF production sites. This position in North America will focus on both regional and global solutions with an implementation and coordination focus particularly for the North American region.

Formula for Success
Serving as product owner for the Safe Work 4.Zero (digital safe work permits and isolation management) solution, you will be responsible for product road mapping, cost planning, EHS core team and stakeholder alignment, and communication activities in addition to solution engineer responsibilities of testing, training, and ongoing support of the Safe Work 4.Zero solution.
Applying your robust technical skills, you will be responsible for the implementation of the Safe Work 4.Zero solution for Freeport and select sites in the NA region, including project planning, training, and user support.
Relying on your strong problem-solving skills, you will develop new solutions for the operational EHS portfolio related to multiple facets of the EHS domain, including emergency response, emissions management, management of change, incident reporting, and more.
Successfully engaging within and outside the organization, you will scope, coordinate and partner with internal and/or external teams to develop proof-of-concept solutions and run pilot projects to evaluate viability of prospective solutions for the EHS portfolio.
Leveraging your educational background or experience in BASF production and expertise in data manipulation, you will resolve configuration and end user support challenges, as well as introduce new opportunities for process improvements of the Safe Work 4.Zero solution and other future solutions.
Your focus on the change management aspects of the Safe Work program and your excellent interpersonal skills will serve you well as you connect with a diverse BASF production workforce to realize a favorable and sustainable adoption of new technologies.
Providing support to critical activities such as Turnarounds and significant system upgrades, you will work to ensure use of the assigned digital solutions achieve their targets, such as value capture, system reliability, and consistent utilization.
