Fiserv Conversion Analyst in Frisco, Texas

Position Description

About the Role:

This position will engage you into a growing part of the Fiserv business – new client conversions. You will join the Delivery team who is responsible for converting credit unions to Fiserv Credit Union account processing platforms. You will be instrumental in increasing delivery capacity and client satisfaction rates to a consistent ‘A’ grade; you’ll work with the best clients in the world, configuring their systems and guiding them as they transition to a Fiserv solution.

  • Provide analysis, consultation, and training to new clients during application conversion, to ensure accurate data conversion, and satisfied clients, functioning proficiency in the Fiserv system.

  • Provide overall project responsibility, including the areas of project management, training and implementation during client installation.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, analyze and determine conversion requirements and provide conversion specification to programming.

  • Provide consultation to the client before, during and after conversion, including the development of new department procedures the conversion may need.

  • Interpret client’s existing systems and workflows, through and including the balancing of conversion data.

  • Communicate progress and any potential problems to manager for awareness and/or resolution.

  • Maintain the tools used to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the conversion process (system studies, questionnaires).

  • Provide training to the client before, during and after conversion, including the correct use of the system and on-line terminal assistance, as well as daily application balancing procedures.

  • Applies standard project management principles including the creation and maintenance of project plans and managing project tasks and resources as they apply to each implementation.

  • Manages multiple clients and adhere to project timelines.

  • Manages client expectations with respect to available product solutions.

  • Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example and experience that is commiserate with that of Business Analyst.

  • Utilizes system and data to resolve business issues in the most effective manner.

  • Analyzes and identifies root cause; providing input to solutions that lead to success for Fiserv and the client.

  • Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming a collaborative project team

  • Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions in accordance with stated procedure.

  • Assists management with the planning and design of improvements to business processes.

  • Maintains ownership of all projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education*:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Job Related Experience:

  • Three years of experience in a business, financial or technical industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior conversion experience or experience supervising operations and/or applications area within the financial industry highly desirable.

  • Worked at a financial institution, Credit Union or Bank.

  • Project management capabilities.

  • Experience and interaction with client.

  • Financial industry experience.

  • Implementing or supporting SaaS solutions.

Travel Required:

  • 50% travel
