Our Learning Facilitator role serves as the primary faculty for our development programs. Programs range from new hire orientation to professional development (such as project management skills), as well as core and customized leadership development experiences. Our Learning Facilitators will work with others to implement relevant strategies, programs, and technologies to educate and help prepare leaders to achieve business results, while creating an environment that cares for all of our team members. The successful candidate will ideally possess a strong understanding of leadership development principles and be an established practitioner in facilitating learning in a highly interactive setting. This position reports to the Leadership Development Operations Excellence Manager (LD Ops Mgr.).

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities:

  • Facilitate leadership and professional training effectively by using a variety of delivery mechanisms including traditional instructor-led, co-facilitation, and virtual classes that span across multiple functions in a global, large size organization

  • Use positive reinforcements and adult learning techniques to promote learning and skill improvement

  • Ensure a quality experience for our team member participants by taking responsibility for administering logistical tasks associated with facilitation and successful delivery of classes

  • Maintain class content and/or monitor and get help from others on the team to maintain that content

Other duties may include:

  • Implementation of the enterprise learning plan and curriculum development

  • Support the development and updates of course descriptions, curricula, and assignments in the LMS

  • Assist in the building and maintenance of facilitator guides & participant guides for classes

  • Participate in the analysis and assessment of leadership and professional development needs and trends

  • Evaluate and measure learning effectiveness and impact to show ROI

  • Follow-up with clients on large initiatives and/or critical programs for work groups

  • May work directly with third-party business partners to develop, deliver, and/or evaluate training and/or instructional materials

Job Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in HR or related fields (e.g. instructional design, organizational behavior, education); bachelors & above preferred

  • Holds certificates for programs that focus on education, training, &/or leadership development (e.g. CPLP, ATD or SHRM certificates, Franklin Covey, Ken Blanchard, DDI) preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, especially in corporate management/leadership/ professional development for a large global organization

  • Significant experiences and expertise in:

  • Applying adult learning theory in learning development, curriculum design, training methodologies, and online education

  • Facilitating and maintaining leadership development programs

  • Conducting engaging presentations in business-friendly and user-friendly language to groups at all organizational levels using excellent verbal communication

  • Organizing concepts or ideas in a logical manner and communicate them clearly & concisely in a leaning environment

  • Building, developing, and maintaining key relationships/partnerships

  • Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative with high ethical standards

  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed

  • Working effectively both independently and with a team

  • Handling multiple tasks and demands in a fast-paced work environment

  • Experiences in delivering management/leadership/professional development learning solutions in a commercial airline company—a plus

  • Interacting with executives—a plus

  • Being an internal consultant—a plus

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Experience implementing large projects

  • Previous Operations experience at a commercial airline company –a plus

  • May require travel up to 30-50%
