In this role, the Senior Staff Scientist will be the leader of research and development efforts to improve mathematic models that support Automation and other Rod Lift products. The Senior Staff Scientist will apply his/her educational background and industry experience to develop complex diagnostics in support of Automation tools.
In the role of Senior Staff Scientist, you will:
Remain current in the field of Applied Mathematics, utilizing diagnostic models to improve and validate Automation technology
Protect BHGE’s Intellectual Property through the appropriate filing of patents
Serve as a recognized leader in defining state of the art mathematical models to support existing and future business opportunities
Utilize design and analysis software tools to support Rod Lift product line
Support customer outreach efforts through explanation of product validation Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from an accredited college or university
Minimum 10 years of experience in Artificial Lift industry including 5 years of experience in Rod Lift Desired Characteristics:
Masters Degree in Applied Mathematics from an accredited college or university
PhD in Applied Mathematics from an accredited college or university
Minimum 15 years of experience in Artificial Lift industry (at least 10 of which in Rod Lift)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Proven track record of success in filing of patents
Demonstrated ability to publish and present technical papers
