Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, Texas. The candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in some of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control’s highly innovative and ingenious solutions to complex technical problems facing the aerospace industry. You will leverage your technical, leadership and interpersonal skills in a structured team framework and work in a cross-functional team environment.

Job Description:

Looking for a Software Engineer to join our Air Dominance Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) team advancing one of our Internal Research and Development (IRAD) projects. The candidate will work with the team developing the latest generation of HWIL facilities. The team is developing scene generation software that takes advantage of advancements in commercial GPU technologies and RF SoC technology. The team is developing an RF Injection Computer in Loop (CIL) as well as a Dynamic HWIL with a Flight Motion System in an RF Chamber.

Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.

- Experience in software engineering and various cycle development processes

- Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Development (CI/CD) Pipelines

- Linux

- C++

- CUDA software development experience

- Experience integrating closed loop systems

- Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 6 years.

Desired Skills:

Desired Skills:

-Experience as a software lead and working with multi-disciplined teams

-Experience mentoring / sharing knowledge with junior engineers

-Experience with GitLab, Jenkins,

-Experience working with HWIL systems

-Experience using configuration management systems such as git

-Experience working with RF SoC’s
