The University of Houston-Clear Lake invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Social Work appointment in the college of Human Sciences and Humanities beginning fall 2021. This position serves as one of three core faculty in the growing Bachelor of Social Work program. The Social Work faculty should be prepared to emphasize social justice in courses across the social work curriculum and demonstrate a commitment to program development.iDuties:The Assistant Professor is expected to have experience, or the capacity to, teach social work Practice Classes (individuals, groups/families, communities/organizations) as well as Human Behavior and/or Diversity courses.The successful candidate will be required to teach three courses each long semester to a richly diverse student body, advise students, and provide service to the program.iRequired:i1. A CSWE-accredited Master's of Social Work degree.2. A minimum two years of post-MSW professional practice experience.3.
