The Business Process Improvement (BPI) team drives transformation initiatives with HPE’s business groups, with particular focus on Supply Chain and Sales Operations.
This individual will be responsible for engaging with internal HPE customers to align on priorities, define improvement opportunities, and drive the execution of improvement initiatives. Proven experience in defining and delivering transformation programs is necessary.
Assess and develop current models of operations and develop appropriate new models as needed with multiple what-ifs and simulation capabilities
Analyze and design solutions to remedy current business problems
Engage and influence senior stakeholders in the business to deploy these solutions
Partner with the business group, functions and technology partners to implement actionable recommendations
Lead cross functional transformation program teams
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
Project management certification such as PMP/PMI certification preferred.
Lean Six Sigma or other Quality certification preferred.
Requires 10+ years experience
Supply Chain and/or Sales Operations experience is an advantage
Knowledge and Skills:
Self-starter, takes ownership, demonstrates bias towards action, takes consultative approach in ambiguous business environment, hard working
Team player / works well with others / collaborator
Strong communicator (both verbal and written)
Detail-oriented, but does not lose sight of the big picture
Understanding of a core domain such as Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Sales, Finance & Treasury, Product Management & Marketing
Experience working with senior stakeholders (SVP/VP level) to shape programs from high level objectives and problem areas
Proven track record in deploying company wide solutions
Proven track record of working effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced and global environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical business executives
Demonstrated ability to develop and apply information-driven approaches to solve critical business questions in a practical manner with tangible results
Ability to manage projects and meet stringent deadlines.
Experience in hi tech industry an added advantage
