Our client located in the Houston Galleria area is currently in need of a Bilingual (Spanish) Collections Specialist with strong customer service skills on a contract to possible full time basis. This position will be responsible for consumer collections, and collections experience (consumer or commercial) is strongly preferred. Candidates with customer service experience in a call center environment will be considered. There is high bonus potential for the role on a full-time basis where you will be rewarded directly for your collections performance. The responsibilities of the Bilingual (Spanish) Collections Specialist will include making outbound calls to individual customers in an effort for prompt payment, answering inbound calls relating to account receivable, researching and resolving any disputes or issues, assisting with payment arrangements, ensuring accurate documentation is maintained, generating collection letters, performing adjustments, among other duties as needed. Bilingual in Spanish is required for this role!

Requirements

• AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred

• Ability to analyze customer accounts and make decisions based on those analyses

• Prior experience using accounting software

• Comprehensive knowledge of consumer collections

• Strong familiarity with account reconciliation

• Account analysis experience preferred

• Customer service experience highly desired

• Account Resolution experience

• 2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience

• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
