Events Marketing Intern

Job Description:

Plan, manage, implement and measure an integrated presence and surround at trade shows and events in which the company participates. Define and deliver a positive company experience across both physical events – such as trade shows, conferences, field events, partner events, executive events, product launches/NPIs and customer hospitality – as well as online/web events. Manage key event processes, including nomination and selection process, lead management and event metrics. Ensure events align with company’s brand identity and messaging framework.


  • Implement seminars, conferences, field events, hospitality, limited-scale trade shows or on-line events.

  • Typical events managed are for one business group, reach an audience of 1,000 or less and cost under $25K (US$).

  • Execute to assigned project budgets.

  • Maintain company marketing management systems as needed.

  • Frequent travel - >30%.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Must be currently pursuing a BA or BS in Business, Marketing or Communications and graduate no sooner than Fall of '18.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Organization and project/program management skills.

  • Solid written/verbal communications skills.

  • Analytic skills to determine closed-loop return of assigned shows or events.
