Job Role and Responsibilities:  

We are looking for an innovative intern to join our Global Field Onboarding team and work in partnership on the new graduate Academy program. This role will help you to develop your program management skills through a wide range of activities and events while gaining exposure to the VMware Sales and Services organizations.

ACADEMY (https://youtu.be/ADx54MlUZto) is a global development program for top university graduates who aspire to become the next generation of VMware leaders, sales professionals, and technical pioneers. The program’s innovative and immersive training approach is proven to provide the skills, knowledge and mentorship needed for a successful career.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Be prompt and accurate in maintaining the program schedules and deliverables,

• Highly organized coordination of virtual training and impactful online events

• Assist with virtual logistics planning and delivery

• Provide input on execution of program as we plan activities for future gro

• Be able to execute on program requests and project driven requirements

• Manage feedback collection from new graduate participants

• Gain exposure to program budgetary processes

• Work with internal partners while gaining knowledge of business infrastructure

• Possible interest in joining Academy upon graduation is a bonus while gaining knowledge of the sales and services organizations

Required Skills:

• In pursuit of bachelor’s degree or degree in progress

• Great interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills

• The ability to prioritize workflow and multi-task

• Enjoy working in a diverse and culturally global environment

• Ability to handle several concurrent activities with attention to detail

• Adaptable to change and fast paced work environment

• Self-starter with excellent time management skills

• Proficiency in virtual platforms, MS Office, Smartsheet experience preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Interest in learning within the Sales and Services businesses while working on a growing program

• Experience coordinating and planning for large group events virtually

• Familiarity with online activities and community resources
