Primary Responsibilities : The Freese and Nichols Houston,Texas office is currently searching for an intern to support our Water Resource Planning/Stormwater team. Our group provides professional consulting services to assist our clients in making strategic decisions related to water supply, drainage, and flood control planning and infrastructure throughout Texas. The intern will contribute to projects and apply what you are learning in your college coursework.
Preferred Qualifications: Qualified candidates will be pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, or other comparable water resources focused engineering or science degrees, and will have completed, at a minimum, their sophomore year. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal/communication skills and good writing skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Hydrologic and Hydraulic models and software is preferred. The ability to multitask and meet deadlines, be willing to be a team player and assist with additional tasks as needed will aid in the success of this individual.
