IBM Iteration Manager, Front-End Team in Houston, Texas

Your Role and Responsibilities
You are a self-motivated individual with attention to detail and an eagerness to learn for the Front-End (FE) Team Iteration Manager role. This team is responsible for the Front-End Infrastructure within the CIO - IBMers are our everyday consumers and we focus on improving their experience every day.
Function as the iteration manager for an Agile team to define, deliver, build and iterate on capabilities
Proactively manage lifecycles of Front-End (FE) team initiatives, from strategic planning, program funding and proposal, architecture design, solution qualification, to interlock with Operate team on deployment and operations.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders other network and hosting squads and vendors.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide support for escalation management, manage risks, balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
Collaborate with security focals to meeting security compliance.
Communicate feature releases to internal and external users
Mentor and lead by example for other members of the product team
Track and manage financials for squad to target budget
Handle procurement and purchase processes for 3rd party vendor product purchases and renewals
Lead squad standups and foster Agile practices within team.
Effectively use CIO tools to organize and manage FE team (Jira, Box, ServiceNow, etc)
Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
2+ years’ experience as an Iteration Manager or Scrum Manager leading a team in Agile practices and ceremonies.
Strong understanding of web foundations and concepts
Knowledge and hands-on experience of infrastructure (hosting or network) architecture, engineering.
Experience managing or working with enterprise level life cycle projects.
Strong organization and execution, able to lead planning and execution, able to articulate to stakeholders and manage risks.
Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
3+ years of project management experience including work with infrastructure project, with load balancing and reverse proxy services experience
Prior infrastructure architecture, engineering, devops or operations experience
