Large organization is currently hiring several mail room clerks. The positions are full time and permanent. The office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package to employees after a 60 day probationary period. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, etc. Starting pay is up to $16 per hour depending on experience.

The ideal applicant will be able to work independently and be able to self-direct their day once out of training. The mail room is a small department that interacts closely with other divisions of the company such as accounting, customer service, in-house counsel legal department and human resources. You must be able to get along with others and have some follow through.

The mail clerk is responsible for receiving all corporate office mail. Open large quantities of mail, sort mail, log mail and disburse mail to appropriate departments. You must be able to work quickly, lift boxes up to 20lbs independently and perform basic clerical tasks. You will also assist on special projects during tax season, marketing promotions; by assisting with preparing forms to be placed in mail. Applicants should have some experience using postage weight machine if possible.
