Leidos Network Administrator (NASA JSC MCC) in HOUSTON, Texas
Leidos has an opening for a Network Administrator to support the Mission Control Center (MCC) at Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Clearlake, Texas.
The candidate will be assigned to support the Computer Resources Integration Team in the ISS Avionics & Software Office. This particular position is located at the Software Development & Integration Lab (SDIL), a part of the Sonny Carter Training Facility (SCTF). This position provides support in one or more of the following areas: Manifesting and tracking of all Computer Resources (CR) hardware, Hardware Certification, Command &Data Handling (C&DH) Mission Evaluation Room (MER) Support, and Hardware discrepancies. Familiarity with ISS Schedule Issue/Change Form (SIF), Program Change Request, Cargo Mission Contract (CMC) Requests for Services, their associated processes and related panels and boards is desired.
The candidate should be experienced in dealing with various levels of ISS Program personnel. This position involves providing integration support for all computer resources responsible hardware, including troubleshooting on-board problems, coordinating manifest/changes with all vehicles, and providing planning support for steady state ops and transition states of the on-board network and its components. Project Integration experience is required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience related to technical disciplines supporting ISS or Space Shuttle Program. An additional 4 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
