TITLE: Product and Portfolio Management Professional COMPANY: Siemens Energy, Inc. DUTIES: Support management in the definition and planning of R&D investment decisions for budget planning by engaging functional stakeholders. Ensure competitiveness and completeness of portfolio and measure economic success of portfolio investment. Support in identifying and evaluating synergies with market, industry verticals and technologies. Responsible for supporting product managers in defining business level requirements for product lines, including the software product strategy, roadmap and pricing strategies. Involved in identifying continuous improvement of the process and tools for product lifecycle management with other stakeholders. Support the development of business plans, and product positioning in the marketplace. Design structured product plans from broad concepts and business strategies; including market research. Engage with relevant industry organizations, conduct win-loss analysis, evaluate RFPs for future enhancements and identify customer needs. Product portfolio includes four product lines and associated services covering relief systems, inspection management, management of change and upstream concept screening. Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate opportunities for growth and partnerships. Participate in developing growth initiatives and market intelligence topics for the sub segment. REQUIREMENTS: Master s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field, and 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry or in an acceptable alternate occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor s degree in the above listed fields and 10 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry or in an acceptable alternate occupation. Must have 5 years of experience within the following skills: experience in the oil and gas, chemical or energy industry; experience in chemical or mechanical engineering; knowledge of software product management, marketing and business/market analysis; broad understanding of the oil and gas, refining, petrochemical and energy industries; proficiency in the elaboration and presentations of data and content; experience in interacting and working in multidiscipline teams; understanding of finance and accounting pertaining to evaluation R&D investment .
