SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for researching and resolving invoice exceptions from COR360 and re-routing the invoices through the workflow, clearing pended invoices, reconciling vendor statements and meeting department deadlines. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for researching and resolving invoice exceptions o Exceptions are coded and re-routed for approval through the workflow o Minimum of 40 exceptions released per day • Responsible for accurate invoice processing o Verify correct address • Resolve pended invoices o Release pended invoices in 7 days or less • Reconcile all Vendor Statements monthly o Due Monthly – 15th ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Scans the accounts payable invoices • Emails Corcentric the invoices to be indexed • Manages the COR360 Submission Report o Includes the number of invoices sent to Corcentric • Answers the phone based on the daily rotation schedule • Opens the mail and sorts it by department o Date stamps the mail for accounts payable • Maximize all discount opportunities • Internal inquiry resolution • Submit new vendor information to A/P Manager for completion • Create debit memos • Participate in departmental phone and email rotations • Filing as required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to occasionally carry, relocate and or lift up to 50 pound cartons and containers • Ability to work a regular schedule in an open office environment • Ability to sit for up to three hours at a time
