Neovia Logistics IT Analyst Senior in Irving HQ, Texas


  • Supports a global organization on all IT asset purchases and renewals.

  • Oversees some cross-functional projects, relied upon to answer complex questions, and perhaps assists with some cross-regional projects. Secondary trainer of new team members.

  • Primarily Independent. Relied upon as a subject matter expert (SME) by colleagues. May assist with training or answering routine and perhaps some non-routine questions.


  • Oversee IT software license and subscription management.

  • Develop process and controls related to software usage.

  • Develop reporting for license management and other IT reporting requirements.

  • Create purchase requisitions.

  • Receive purchase orders.

  • Generate return material authorizations (RMAs).

  • Initiate new vendors setup requests.

  • Follow-up on grief reports and capture recommended solutions.

  • Participate in process improvement projects.

  • Expedite workflow approvals.

  • Oversee SAP order processing/order management.

  • Liaise with users, vendors, and technical groups to resolve system issues and to improve processes.

  • Assist with updating standard operating procedures and ensuring they are easily accessible.

  • Serve as lead trainer to junior level staff.

  • Ensure internal clients are proactively educated on roles and responsibilities associated with IT global purchasing activities

  • Train stakeholders on new and updated processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders, ensuring a partnership approach to solutions.

  • Introduce best practices into the workflow where deficient.

  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and tangible outputs. Rely on industry standards, best practices, and qualitative and quantitative data to support and/or refine operations methodologies.


  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Management or Finance) or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.

  • At least 5 years of IT experience.

  • At least 5 years of SAP purchasing functions.

  • At least 3 years of experience in purchasing IT materials (software, hardware, etc.).

  • At least 3 years in a role with responsibilities for overseeing complex and cross-functional projects.

  • Some formal project management experience preferred (developing project charters, business cases/proposals, etc.).


Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.


  • Effective user of Microsoft Excel required and some working knowledge/exposure with SharePoint a plus.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization, and with external vendors and regulatory agencies.

  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to shift approaches based on audience.

  • Ability to communicate complex issues/solutions in a manner that is easily understood and actionable despite the audience.

  • Critical thinking abilities using fact-based troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to perform well within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires the management of multiple projects at once, without compromising quality and service levels.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of extremely sensitive data at all times.

  • Must have the ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently, have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills and pay specific attention to details.
