The Role
The Design Producer is a seasoned individual contributor in digital design production and/or digital agency project management. This individual will have a working understanding of the Agile creative process, Design Thinking methodology, the importance of data-driven design decisions, and resource management. This role will be the primary point of contact for Domain (Purchase, Shop, Enablement, Service, Rewards) Managers and digital Product Journey owners as well as a member of our diverse design triumvirate of Design Production, XD Design, and Research & Strategy within the Design Organization.
The Design Producer can manage multiple projects from Intake through Delivery (and the feedback loop) using Design Thinking and Agile development methods, and management of external agency/vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
Management of Digital Products within the Agile Design Sprint framework
Deliver creative solutions and present to internal stakeholders in persuasive, articulate and compelling ways—charismatic story telling skills are a must
Manage all projects using Design Thinking principles with agile methods ensuring that every project starts with strategy and a well-defined problem to solve
A proven, subject matter expert in the field of project management with extensive experience collaborating with design, strategy, and development teams
Accountable for the successful delivery of all the projects
Partner with Creatives, Strategists, Agencies, and Vendors to develop effective end-to-end customer experiences across all channels
Understand customer goals, business requirements, technical constraints, and work within project parameters
Filter, interpret and streamline stakeholder feedback to ensure productivity and the creative integrity of the solution.
Proactively communicate with internal stakeholders about production recommendations, risks, challenges and solutions
Have a deep understanding of the Banners’ product offering, the markets in which they operate, and the target customers
Inspire teams to invent and execute breakthrough solutions that our customers love
Help invent and inspire customer experiences and user flows that are radically consistent, curiously easy, and bold by design
Manage agency/vendor relationships, and budgets
Forecast and track the utilization of domain-level design resources
Leverage internal analytics to track the performance of the team’s solutions and use the data to inform future projects
Requirements
College degree in Business, Marketing, Retailing, E-Commerce or related field and/or 5+ years of experience developing and implementing solutions with measurable results in the Design Production & Operations field
Experience in both website development and digital marketing including social marketing, video storytelling and static advertising.
Mastery of interaction design, site architecture, and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigation that align to an ideal customer journey
Experience with technical facets of eCommerce platforms
Proven success in managing remote Design teams
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and public speaking skills
Experience managing projects using Agile development methodologies
Experience working in JIRA & Confluence
