Kforce has a client in search of a Helpdesk Consultant in Irving, TX.Summary:The Desktop/End User Support Technician maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots desktop hardware and software packages. The Desktop/End User Support Technician performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. This consultant will typically work on semi-routine assignments.This consultant will be expected to complete the following activities:

  • Research and resolve technical problems of moderate complexity, typically escalated from first line support teams

  • Respond to escalated telephone, email and online requests for technical support

  • Document, track, and monitor the problem using applicable systems and tools

  • Make decisions that are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments

  • Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction

  • Follow standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion

  • Experience with Windows 10, Hardware and Software troubleshooting

  • Experience with Avaya and Cisco phone setups

  • Experience with imaging machines, profile setup, shipping and receiving packages

  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet required metrics

  • Works well on a small team
