Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Plant Maintenance and Production IT Manager that will be based at our corporate office in Irving, TX.


IT Manager – Plant Maintenance and Production, reporting to the Director Business Systems is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining IT solutions supporting the Purchase to Receive (P2R), Product to Stock (P2S) and Installation to Disposal (I2D) business processes.

Working closely with business stakeholders, he or she will establish and drive long-term plant maintenance and production strategy and roadmap, supporting the P2R/P2S and I2D business process streams across Lehigh Hanson’s five business lines/ This individual will work closely with other Technology teams and staff to deliver solutions, provide support and connect systems, customers and vendors in the Lehigh Hanson environment. This position will focus on collaborating closely with all levels of our business organization.

  • Works with and develops key relationships with the business units to identify opportunities, establish a business case and implement appropriate improvements.

  • Directs and manages resources in daily activities and annual goals.

  • Develops, manages, and maintains relationships with vendors and consultants to address support and project activities.

  • Ensures team develops documentation and training programs to assist in meeting business needs.

  • Leads efforts to design, develop and implement completed projects for IT initiatives and internal/external customer use, and communicates effectively with other Lehigh Hanson teams during the SDLC.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Up to 50% travel may be required.

The position will be based at our corporate office in Irving, Texas.

  • College degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in an Information Technology (IT) role with an emphasis on production and plant maintenance

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience with ERP Plant Maintenance (PM), Production Planning (PP), Inventory Management (IM), Material Management (MM) and Purchasing, with a strong preference towards SAP

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with material Quality Control systems

  • Experience with Ready Mixed Concrete and Asphalt Batching Systems strongly desired

  • Experience with Fleet Maintenance systems such as TMT Transman desired

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and implement projects on time and within budget.

  • In depth understanding of business systems life-cycle and associated implementation methodologies, tools and techniques.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management to assess business requirements, and to plan, manage and deliver stable, reliable and cost-effective technology solutions.

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills, team leader/player, task management skills, project coordination/planning, negotiation/integration skills.

  • Good understanding of accepted operational and financial business practices.

  • Knowledge of cement, ready-mix, aggregates, and concrete products operations and the corresponding business processes strongly preferred.
