The Apps Support Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual. Responsibilities: The Application Support Senior Analyst provides technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. This includes providing quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help us and the business succeed. Administer, support, maintain, and enhance MicroStrategy environments, create BI technical standards Responsible for all aspects of MicroStrategy Administration functions for all projects and RHEL servers, maintain and insure the integrity of project schema across multiple environments Handle all aspects of user security Administer the object change management process using Object Manager or Command Manager Work with developers to insure that development standards are adhered to, and enforce standards during migrations Install, configure, deploy, and maintain all MicroStrategy software releases appropriate for the environment Provide day to day support for the servers and all supported application components Qualifications: Technical educational background 3+ years of experience as a MicroStrategy administrator for mid to large sized environments Knowledge related to RHEL system required to perform daily tasks as MSTR STE Administrator  Hands-on experience working in UNIX/Linux environments Ability to analyze and diagnose issues using application server logs, including Intelligence Server, Narrowcast Server, Web Server, Enterprise Manager In-depth knowledge of the MicroStrategy Administration toolkit including Command Manager, Object Manager, License Manager, and metadata scanning utilities Familiarity with MicroStrategy in a clustered Intelligence Server environment Ability to prioritize and perform administrative functions with minimal oversight Experience with environments using advanced MicroStrategy concepts, including Intelligent Cubes, integration with Big Data (i.e. IMPALA), Narrowcast service processing Ability to implement processes/functionalities using scripting such as  Shell, Python, JavaScript, Java etc Ability to automate processes/functionalities using MicroStrategy tool such as System Manager, Command Manager Procedures, SDK etc. Experience with addressing performance issues  and providing performance optimization/tuning solutions.
