Are you looking to join a growing Communication Sciences and Disorders program with both undergraduate and graduate degrees? We are seeking an experienced faculty of open rank to join our accredited program at Texas A & M University-Kingsville which is located in historic Kingsville, home of the legendary King Ranch and Kingsville- Naval Air Station. Our South Texas location is near Gulf coast - Corpus Christi area, with beaches, birding, and fishing. We are a Hispanic service institution, with a growing international population. The position is for a 9-month tenure track faculty with summer teaching possible/optional. University teaching, research, and service are expected. Required qualifications include completion of a research doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology or related field. Preferred qualifications include college teaching experience, expertise in adult neurogenic language and/or motor speech disorders and/or swallowing disorders, completion of ASHA CCCs or evidence of plan for completion by start of position, and currently holding or eligible for speech-language pathology licensure in Texas, evidence of clinical experience and/or licensure of at least 3 years, and potential for research and grant writing. Preference will be given to applicants with an interest in serving administrative aspects of the program (accreditation reporting and/or acting program director) although all applicants with the above preferred qualifications are encouraged to apply. Finalists must have 18 graduate hours for every field in which they will teach. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
