Position Summary & Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse – RN –*Quality Coordinator *tracks, analyzes and reports process successes and barriers to the AVP of Quality Resources and works with unit liaisons and managers to implement regulatory compliance and best practices as applicable. The Quality Outcomes Coordinator is a lead for the Quality PI Work Group which collectively reviews data related to regulatory compliance and other quality initiatives and ensures open communication throughout all levels of the organization.

The Quality Outcomes Coordinator assists in the development of new processes and or programs as necessary as directed by the AVP of Quality Resources related to Value Based Purchasing. The Quality Outcomes Coordinator collaborates closely with the Director of Risk Management and the Director of Information Strategy to identify weaknesses within the organization and uses the FOCUS PDCA methodology as a process improvement tool. The Quality Outcomes Coordinator collaborates with the Education Department to coordinate staff education related to quality initiatives.

The Quality Outcomes Coordinator ensures all follow up action items related to survey readiness and other PI initiatives are completed including but not limited to updating forms and policies.

Minimum Position Requirements: 1. Education 1. BSN in nursing 2. Texas RN licenseor RN Compact State License 3. Currently certified in BLS by HCA approved vendor.
