Café Supervisor (Part-time)

As a Part-time Supervisor, you will have oversight responsibility for Baristas within the café and ensure all daily operations are consistent with Barnes and Noble College Café culture, superior customer-service, food safety and cleanliness standards. You will also provide assistance to the Cafe Manager, Assistant and Store Managers by coaching Baristas to drive sales, adhere to all polices and take full oversight responsibility of the Café in the absence of the Cafe Manager. Qualifications:

It is preferred that you have at least one year of food service experience. You will work the majority of your time behind the café counter assisting customers so you must have strong verbal communication skills and be comfortable working with the public. You must also possess strong written communications skills so that you can effectively communicate with the staff, managers and vendors. You will be required to complete tasks which involve physical activity including lifting, bending, walking and standing for long periods of time.
