Position Description:

Performs complex work computing, classifying, recording, and verifying numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records. May supervise subordinate employees.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Prepares and processes appropriate University forms for daily operation of the Law School including ePafs, Travel, Purchase Orders, Direct Pays, PCard Reconciliation, IV's, DDIS, and JV's.

  • Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail.

  • Communicates proper procedures for travel and Law School purchases.

  • Regularly attends training and appropriate procurement events to ensure we are operating within the most current procurement rules.

  • Work within protocols laid out in policy documents.

  • Counsels student organization officers for proper procedures on procurement and reimbursement.

  • Counsels students, staff and faculty on proper procedures for procurement and travel.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Banner and Cognos.

  • Ability to think critically and make suggestions to improve departmental processes.

Pay Statement:

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
