Description

Payroll Clerk needed for a temporary project lasting through August. The position is located in Midland, Texas and will report directly to the Office Manager.

As the Payroll Clerk you will be responsible for: - Processing three separate payrolls to include; - semi-monthly payroll for salary employees - bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees - monthly commission payroll - Benefit enrollment - Ensuring 401k deductions are current and correct - Setting-up New Hires in the payroll system - Processing terminations

Payroll Clerk candidates with at least 1+ year of payroll experience are encouraged to apply. As well as Payroll Clerk candidates that have prior experience with ADP and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• 1+ years of previous payroll experience

• Excellent data entry skills

• Payroll software experience recommended

• Eagerness to master new systems

• Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Practical knowledge of ADP Workforce Now

• Well-founded grasp of semi-Monthly Payrolls

• General familiarity with Special Payroll Deductions

• Foundational knowledge in garnishments payroll

• Command of bi-Monthly Payroll

• Payroll systems for 100-500 employees experience

• Experience with Process Bi-weekly Payroll

• Proven knowledge of Reconcile Payroll

• Solid understanding of benefits payroll
