WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Provide direct patient care in the acute care departments.
- Communicate with physicians, nurses and other staff about patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in conditions of response to treatment.
- Cross-train to perform general nursing duties in other departments. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Six months nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Current Texas RN license or RN Compact licensure and current CPR certification required. ACLS Certification required or must be obtained within first year of employment.
