We currently have an opening for a dynamic individual to join our team as an Export Coordinator located in Northlake, Texas.

The Export Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and inquiring on the transportation of materials and finished products. They will support positive relationships with carriers and customers.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assists with coordinating the transportation of materials and finished product

  • Services our customers by creating shipments based on multiple needs

  • Finalizes the shipping process including all documentation for international shipments

  • Maintains professional relationship with the carriers and any other customers and/or peers

  • Schedules outbound appointment times with carriers

  • Answers emails, phone calls, and shipping window in a timely manner

  • Works closely with Distribution Center Operations to prioritize shipments

  • Ensure all loads have the proper documentation

  • Performs order status inquiries for all completed orders

  • Enters shipping information in multiple customers order systems

  • Complies with SOP, safety rules and regulations, and departmental procedures

  • Must have above average attendance and the ability to support overtime for success in this position


Education Required:

  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • Hazmat Certification is a plus

Work Experience Required:

  • 1-2 years office experience preferred

  • WMS or similar distribution software experience required

  • Experience with export documentation and knowledge of international shipping requirements is preferred

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Computer proficiency including use of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Self-starter, multi-tasker, and excellent attention to detail

  • Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and time management skills

  • Must be flexible and work independently with little supervision

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.

This is a non climate-controlled facility.

While performing the duties of this job the associate is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; kneeling and bending often. The ability to lift 50lbs or more throughout the shift and maintain a constant and steady pace. The individual needs to operate machinery in a safe and professional manner.
