Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:less than/em>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>Under the direction of the Director of Employee Health; oversees the administrative and operational activities of the employee health clinic.less than/li>less thanli>Coordinates the day-to day activities of the employee health clinic to allow for routine related activities.less than/li>less thanli>Under the direction of Director of Employee Health; may assess and assist in the treatment of all injuries andillnesses in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice and consistent with clinic guidelines.less than/li>less thanli>May assist departments with identifying, evaluating and implementing accommodations and return to work options for workers with restricted duty.less than/li>less thanli>Provides generalist and specialist patient health care services, including duties of Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician, Health Assistant, and Patient Care Technician.less than/li>less thanli>May be required to peform basic physical examinations and medical assessments; evaluates patient complaints.less than/li>less thanli>Provides medications and injections as directed by the Director of Employee Health; updates patient files.less than/li>less thanli>Performs a variety of tests to evaluate patient health.less than/li>less thanli>Maintains confidentiality of patient records in compliance with the Privacy Act of 1974{U.S.C. 552A}, and Federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA).less than/li>less thanli>Supports the departmental operations with regular and timely attendance at work.less than/li>less thanli>Orders supplies and materials for the clinic.less than/li>less thanli>Supports the relationship between the City of Odess and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors and City staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and City information; performs other duties as required or assigned.less than/li>less than/ul>less thanp>less thanstrong>Minimum Qualifications:less than/strong>less than/p>less thanp>less thanstrong>Education, Training and Experience Guidelines:less than/strong>Active state nursing license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or as Registered Nurse (RN) required. Bachelor's degree is highly desirable, but not required; AND must have at least three (3) years of clinical experience.less than/p>less thanp>less thanstrong>Knowledge of:less than/strong>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>Policies, guidelines, and professional practice standards of the Texas Department of Agin and Disability Services (DADS) Regulatory Services Divsion, Licensing and Credentialing Section.less than/li>less thanli>Applicable Texas statutes and City ordinances regarding Public Health programs.less than/li>less thanli>Principles, practices, and
